How To Remove A Mole At Home?

Hey, Carolyne here,

If getting rid of an unsightly mole without surgery is what you are looking for, you’ve come to the right place. I had a couple on my face and it certainly didn’t make me feel comfortable. I know how you feel because I’ve been there too.

The good news is that surgery is no longer necessary to make the moles disappear for good. So, want to know how to remove a mole at home? You have a few of options:

Use a mole remover

It costs much less than a surgery and is less likely to leave a scar. The usual prices of mole removers vary from around $50 to $80. Before you apply the treatment you may need to scratch the mole with a needle (ouch!). It can take up to 30 days for a mole to disappear with this kind of treatment. A scar can be left.

Use a razor (NOT recommended)

I already wrote about it in a previous post. If you want to hurt yourself seriously then go on and do this. It’s free as well ;)

Use a natural remedy

The cheapest way to have your moles removed. It works, but only if done correctly. It usually takes from 7 to 10 days to get rid of a mole with this method. It’s pain free and leaves no scars.

Because my moles were located on my face, I didn’t even cosider having them removed by a doctor, as it would leave visible scars and I certainly didn’t want that. I heard about natural mole removal methods and decided to read a guide on how to remove a mole at home so that I would know exactly what to do. I ended up reading a couple of those but they didn’t really seem convincing and provided only a brief description of what you should do. What I wanted was a detailed step by step natural mole removal action plan. I began feeling quite frustrated at that point.

And then I stumbled upon the No More Moles, Warts Or Skin Tags” e-book. It contained a detailed description of a home mole removal remedy and told you exactly what to do and when. Cool, I thought, and I decided to give it a try. After about ten days I couldn’t believe my eyes – my face was finally free from moles!

A nice thing about this method is that apart from being completely natural and pain free, it’s also pretty easy to carry out – it turned out that I already had all the required ingredients at home.

What I didn’t really like that much was that initially the book promised that your moles would be gone in 3 days. While it might not be impossible, it took me about three times the time. The most important thing, however, is that it worked.

I really hope you found this post helpful. If you want to check out “No More Moles, Warts Or Skin Tags”, please click here.

We all know what a mole is, right? If you look it up in the dictionary, here’s what you are likely to find: a mole is a marking on the skin which can vary in size, shape, and color. In most cases a skin mole is benign, but they can become cancerous.

Everyone is born with or will develop moles in their lifetime. The size, shape, location, and status of the mole can determine if a particular individual decides to have the mole removed. There are many methods used to remove moles, both for cosmetic gratification and to prevent any possible health risks associated with skin moles becoming cancerous. Surgery as well as using natural home removal methods can vary in price depending on the specific method chosen to remove the mole.

So, how much does it cost to remove a mole? If surgery is chosen to remove the unwanted mole, there are a few different methods that can be used. One method is a physician using a scalpel to cut or shave the mole from the skin; stitches may or may not be required depending on the depth of the incision. Laser treatment is also available. Typically laser treatment is used to remove moles which do not run deep. Mole removal is priced around $100-$300, depending on the specific type of procedure you choose. In some instances, it may be covered under your health insurance plan.

Home treatments are also available for mole removal. Ingredients rich in acidity, such as apple cider vinegar, are known to be an effective method. While the list of home remedies is quite extensive, it is important to remember not all of these treatments are effective, that’s why it is in your own interest to choose a solution that has been tested by others and is proven to work. If you choose the right method, you can be certain that, compared to what you would have to pay for a surgery, the cost of a natural remedy will be minimal.

The answer will vary depending upon the technique you use. You could opt for a surgical procedure that can usually be finished in one sitting. Most GPs will today recommend either freezing the mole and then cutting it off or using laser surgery to burn it away. Either option is quick though not always cheap.

Home remedies can be used to remove any number of moles but they will not give you such a fast result. There are creams and ointments that can be bought over the counter that claim to produce a satisfactory outcome in less than two weeks.

Of course you should also be aware that you may be left with a small scar once the mole has been removed. This is going to be less visible using a slower technique that gradually shrinks the mole over a surgical option that removes the mole in one day.

Though many people choose to slice off their moles themselves with a sterilised razor blade this is not always a wise decision. Depending upon the location, the cut may bleed profusely and you can even damage the skin tissue surrounding the mole.

There are also completely natural options such as castor oil that can be used in the same manner as an ointment. Again these will not work so fast but you can be sure that you are not causing harm to any other part of your body.
